Largest private employer in North Devon needs workers

A North Devon company that has seen over 40% growth in demand for its products over the past year is looking for staff to join its team as the business grows.

Pall Ilfracombe, the district’s largest private employer, offers many job opportunities in engineering, quality assurance and production, as well as support roles.

Peter Brocklesby, Plant Manager, said: “The past year has seen a massive increase in demand from our customers, which has created many job and career opportunities. Our work in vaccines and drug therapy is a huge part of what we do.

Part of the multinational Pall Corporation, the Ilfracombe plant specializes in filtration and separation. Products made in Ilfracombe help protect and purify a wide range of foods, drinks, drugs and vaccines of all kinds.

Pall Corporation has factories located all over the world. With more than 800 employees currently working at the Ilfracombe plant, Pall Ilfracombe is the company’s largest global manufacturing site. As well as having various workplace incentives, the bosses also run tours of Hocking’s to deliver free ice cream to staff and are known to buy fish and chips for everyone.
