According to Amit Jagga, SVP and Country Leader for Concentrix Philippines, “Our trip to the Philippines has always been about growth. In 16 years, we have grown from a handful of people to a team of 100,000 people today. The launch of 3 new sites in total is a significant growth milestone representing almost 5,700 combined employees in these sites and the opportunity to grow further. This is visible proof of our continued growth and a tangible message of our continued commitment to the Philippines: we will continue to invest in providing exciting career opportunities to as many talented Filipinos as possible. Additionally, the nationwide multi-site launch has also demonstrated that when we expand our presence to more people and places, it translates to employment and other economic opportunities that also expand. to these communities.
The 3 sites: Giga, One Montage Cebu and Davao Finance Center operate 24/7 and total nearly 30,000 m² of space. Staff assist clients in industries such as communications, financial services, retail, technology, travel, healthcare and content moderation. Both Giga and Montage have recruitment centers for the high volume of job seekers in Quezon City and Cebu City.
Investments at the Concentrix site include the working environment and the overall staff experience. Concentrix VP of People Solutions in the Philippines Hazel Banas shares “Staff experience is the top priority for Concentrix, so it is important to consider what is meaningful and relevant to their needs and situations. Considering the workplace and work environment – how highly staff is safe, conducive, well-resourced and well-supported, how we facilitate access to the information or services they need, how we reward and engage them – all of this is important We also want to provide facilities to the state-of-the-art technology with flexibility in mind. Our spaces are deliberately designed for the perfect blend of functionality, productivity and creativity. We also take into account staff feedback on what they need and want , so there are not necessarily two identical sites. For example, you can have 2 sites with a gym and another without. It depends on the pref erence of local teams.
With a strong commitment to continued growth and investment in the country and its talents, Country Leader Amit Jagga is excited about the positive impact it will continue to have, he says”We expect the growth rate to continue to be at significant levels in line with the growth of business that clients entrust to us, including new client logos, all of which increase our hiring needs. So we are very happy to share on our sites and for more people to join Concentrix. If this trajectory continues through 2023, and while we cannot make forward-looking statements as a publicly traded company, if we achieve near double-digit percentage growth from the 100 scale 000 that we have today, it is between 8,000 and 10,000 net employees growth that we can expect.
Concentrix Philippines was awarded “Highly Commended” for Employee Experience Excellence in the 2022 Gartner Communication Awards and has been named one of Asia’s Top Employer Brands for 2 consecutive years. He is also the sole recipient of the ICT Awards 2021 Special Award for “Outstanding Use of ICT Services to Combat COVID-19”.
