Selection procedure DDA JE 2022: Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is inviting applications from eligible Indians to fill 279 vacancies for Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical), Junior Translator (Official Language), Programmer, Assistant Manager (Landscape) and planning assistant. Interested candidates can apply online for the DDE recruitment 2022 from June 10, 2022 to July 10, 2022. Candidates are required to ensure their eligibility for the position for which they are applying. The DDA JE written exam is scheduled for September 1-30, 2022.

The merit list of all successful candidates for the respective positions shall be prepared separately on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in the online computer-based examination as well as the interview, if applicable taken together.
The minimum qualifying scores (per category) will be as follows:

REMARK:
(i) For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), DDA may, at its discretion, further relax the minimum qualifying scores.
(ii) For the position of junior translator (official language) [Post Code – 05] : The Stage II Examination will be assessed only for candidates who meet the Stage I Examination minimum qualification standards, as set at the discretion of the Authority. The merit list will be established on the basis of the scores obtained in Stage I and Stage II taken together. However, in the event that two or more candidates acquire the same position of merit, then their date of birth will be a decisive factor in determining their merit, i.e. the older candidate will be placed higher in the merit list.

Document verification
Shortlisted candidates who pass the exam will be called for verification of documents as well as identity before issuing the letter of offer/appointment, the date of which will be indicated separately.
It will be mandatory for applicants to present themselves for documents and identity verification. Candidates are advised to bring with them the following original documents as well as a set of certified copies of all specified documents for verification purposes detailed below:
(i) System-generated printout of the application with the applicant’s scanned photograph and signature.
(ii) Request for Payment of Fees in Support of Filing of Prescribed Fees.
(iii) High school examination certificate/mark sheet in which the date of birth of the candidate is indicated.
(iv) Diplomas and certificates of all educational and professional/higher qualifications, as well as grade sheets of all years/semesters.
(v) Certificate of Experience (if applicable).
(vi) Certificate of SC/ST/OBC/EWS, as applicable, issued by the relevant Competent Authority (if applicable). Certificates for categories SC/ST, OBC and EWS must conform to the model attached in Annexes 4, 5 and 6 respectively. The non-creamy OBC certificate must not be older than one year.
(vii) Employment Certificate: if you are an existing employee of DDA or anywhere in service. Candidates already employed by the government. Departments/PSUs/Autonomous Agencies will be required to produce a “No Objection Certificate (NOC)” from the employer at the time of document verification, if an appointment is offered.
(viii) Certificate of invalidity (indicating the type and percentage of invalidity) issued by the relevant competent authority according to the attached model. [Annexure 7, 8 & 9]
(ix) Proof of photo ID such as Aadhaar card, voter ID card, passport, driver’s license etc.
(x) All other documents, as detailed in the notice and/or letter of appeal.
(xi) If a candidate fails to appear before the interview panel or for the verification of documents/identity accompanied by the original documents, he will not be eligible for nomination and his application will be immediately rejected. No requests to change the identity/documents/interview verification date will be accepted, nor will a second opportunity be offered for identity/documents/interview verification in all case.

General conditions of selection
i) The selected candidate will be required to provide a surety bond of ₹2,00,000/- (Rs two lakhs only). If he leaves the services of the Authority before completing three years of service (two years probation + one year of regular service thereafter), the deposit provided by the candidates is granted.
ii) All conditions prescribed for appointment as a trainee trainee also apply.
Trial period
During the two-year probationary period, selected candidates will receive internal training regarding departmental procedures, etc. The candidate’s probation will be confirmed after completing/passing the departmental exam, if any, prescribed by DDA.
